Parmy Kandola, executive chef and owner of Mr. Tandoori Urban Bar & Grill, knew he wanted to be a chef and restaurant owner when he was a teenager. Born in India he also lived in England until 1981, when he and one of his brothers moved to the United States. His whole family loves to cook and are involved in the restaurant industry in one fashion or another around the globe.
Parmy learned to cook at a young age by watching others. He has worked in many different restaurants and is well versed in various cuisines. His passion, however, is Indian Cuisine, believing it a flavorful and healthy alternative. It is unique and Parmy hopes to share his passion with everyone.
Parmy moved to Pueblo in the fall of 2011 to begin his dream of opening his own restaurant believing the people of Pueblo as well as anyone visiting here will enjoy his food.
Along with his amazing staff, Parmy works long hours, to provide a dining experience unlike any other. He continues to pour his heart and soul into his business constantly making his restaurant more warm and inviting to his customers. He and his staff pride themselves on providing excellent service.
